Putting Experience to Work

After a decade of advocating for our students and schools, I have a wide and deep understanding of Montgomery County Public Schools.

I want to take that knowledge to the board table, and will be ready to go on day one.

Sebastian Johnson, Student Member of the Board (2005-06)

There are few people who work harder or care more than Lynne Harris. She combines a number of talents and experiences that will make her an effective board leader. Her background as a parent and MCPS teacher are great assets, but what makes Lynne stand out is her passion for lifting up the student voice and collaborating with youth leaders in our county. I can't think of a better person to serve on the board.
